Alexa Joyce
As Director of Policy, Teaching and Learning for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Alexa Joyce supports national and regional governments and other education bodies in transforming education and deploying 1:1 device programs in schools across the region.

As part of the Global Digital Learning Strategy team, she helps provide thought leadership and evidence of the impact of ICT in education transformation on teaching and learning in all subject areas. Alexa was formerly Senior Business Development Manager at European Schoolnet, the network of 30 Ministries of Education in Europe and think tank in use of technology to transform education.

At Schoolnet, she worked closely with governments, educators and major companies to bring about transformation in education. She had a particular focus on large-scale EC-funded projects (FP6, FP7 and the Lifelong Learning Program) and multi-stakeholder partnerships, in the fields of ICT in education, science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) education and sustainability education.
