Dalibor Baškovč is vice president of EuroCloud Europe's general assembly where he focusses on startups and innovation in Europe, supporting the value chain and financing of R&D. He is also a co-founder and chairman of EuroCloud Slovenia and CEO of Zavod e-Oblak.
Dalibor is also a member of the Select Industry Group (SIG), run by the EU commission and has been actively involved in the preparation of EU cloud strategy.
He has worked on a certification program development, involved in communication on European level towards other markets, such as China. He manages the cloud computing competence center in Slovenia, one of 7 competence centers in Slovenia.
Dalibor is also coordinator of the biggest Slovene cloud research and development projects KC-Class, one of the largest projects in Europe at this time. The project pushes knowledge transfer from research institutions to the industry through the cloud competence center within Slovene Chamber of Commerce.
He is CEO of privately owned company Zeleno d.o.o., consulting in the area of cloud computing, where he is responsible for developing the cloud consultancy program, helping vendors, research&development entities, ISV’s, getting value out of cloud industry.
